The album is nearly finished (hoorayyyyy), only my Premier Pro has stopped working (I stupidly changed my audio preferences and now the play button on every single project won't work??? Why Adobe?) .
So the album update video is on hold for the time being. In the mean time, I've been furthering my research into cassette tapes and Music Concrete. I will do an in-depth post on here (or a video? Hrmm... decisions, decisions!)
In the mean time, I've been trying to arrange a video shoot with some friends. Because of my involvement in the YouTube community, I have a lot of friends that are handy with a camera and I'm hoping to achieve a video that's unique (hopefully?) I would really love to involve some people that are a bit "different" aesthetically - however I have no money and I don't like asking for work for "exposure" or a "favour" (ughh).
Anyway. As part of the journey for this album, I've been listening to a lot of chilled out music, and watching a lot of random YouTube compilations.
Today, I wanted to look at Bonobo. Bonobo enjoys sampling and his music has a lot of organic sounds which provides a relaxed aesthetic. He also uses a lot of repetition, which as a listener, lulls you in a bit.
